Smoothie recipe

1 banana

handful of berries such as blackberries

125ml milk

2 tablespoons of yogurt

Whizz in a blender.  Pour into a glass.  It’s as quick & easy as that!

This is so simple to make and a fun way to get two portions of fruit.  The milk and yogurt provides calcium too.  It’s great for fussy teenagers and adults alike!  You can choose any combination of fruit that you fancy or whatever is seasonal.  Bananas are a good smoothie base though so try adding different fruits to them such as raspberries and strawberries.  September is a good time to go blackberrying.  This is fun in itself and gets you and the kids exercising without you even noticing!  This recipe is cheap and nutritious.  A great all-rounder!
